I was one of the many at the Booka Shade gig the other night in Tripod. They were pretty awesome, let it be said. Nothing like a cheesy pair of Germans banging out some good house. I'm finding it gas though, the security levels at these things. They practically strip searched us on the side of the street before we were anywhere near the frickin door, then when I got to the entrance they started tut tuting at my passport of all things.
'See, this simply isn't good enough'
'What isn't? It's my passport, the most official document I own to prove my identity.'
'Yes but you've only been eighteen since the eleventh of April.'
Yeah, I didn't get it either. I'm beginning to think bouncers got lost somewhere in the process of evolution, maybe that's why they're so ugly. Natural selection and all that.
